This is a special model that is only usually available outwith Europe. If you want the ultimate realism, this version has NO SAFETY on the Right Hand Side of the pistol!!!!

This is the one we've been waiting for. Designed using the original plans for the 1915 Webley Mk IV, this is a beautifully finished airsoft reproduction of this iconic pistol. Good weight, fully field stripable and smooth trigger pull, if you are in any way a fan of this pistol then you'd be daft not to own one.

The standard Wingun Power Down shells are too long and DO NOT fit. However these have a built-in restricter which lifts out and can be swapped over to the Webley shells, reducing them to site limits (circa 280fps). picture to follow...

Each pistol is worn and corroded in different ways so no two are alike. Please bare this in mind when purchasing as your pistol finish will not be 100% to the photograph.

The Webley company have manufactured revolvers since the early 1930's. The pinnacle of British handgun development was the Mk IV Service Revolver .455

This revolver was the preferred sidearm for the British and Commonwealth troops during both World Wars because of it's superior stopping power and fast reloading.

Over 300,000 Mk IVs were produced between 1914-1939 with many still seeing active service well into the 1970's.

This iconic revolver is recognised Worldwide as the Webley 455.

A really great historical firearm replica
Review by
This is a truly great Webley MkVI replica revolver. It is very very accurate to the original weapon and I believe was developed from the original Webley Blueprints.

It comes in a great looking Webely branded box which says it was designed and developed by Webley & Scott. It seems to be made by Gun Heaven, but I believe this is actually Win Gun. The box also has lots on info on the back about the gun and a list of Films and games in which the Webley MkVI makes an appearance.

There is the usual basic manual for the gun, but also included is a replica of a British Army manual for the MkVI from 1937 which is a really great touch and a nice extra.

The gun itself has a lovely weathered finish and It looks very much like a well used but looked after revolver. All that is except for the grips and grip screws which look brand new and not weathered at all, but that was easily fixed with some model making weathering products and a clear coat to seal it. Now my grips look more in keeping with the look of the rest of the pistol.

This basically loads and works in much the same as any other Win Gun revolver, with BB's being loaded into the front of 6 shells and a 12g CO2 Cart in the grip. This gun breaks open rather than having a swing out cylinder and the ejector pushes used rounds out of the cylinder automatically as the gun breaks open which can make for spectacular reloads.

The gun is not too heavy for its size (it's a big revolver) and fits my hands nicely. It seems to have reasonable pointability, and is accurate for a gun which appears to have no hop up. You get a good number of shots per CO2 cartridge, and changing then is very easy. The gun has no safety, just like the real gun. Double action revolvers don't really need a manual safety anyway, but it might be something to think about if you prefer to make a gun safe with a manual safety.

The gun comes with 6 shells, which are fitted with restrictors which bring down the FPS to a level usable in skirmishing I assume. If you want full power shells the restrictors just pop out, but the FPS will then be too high to skirmish with. To be fair though these are pretty cumbersome to skirmish with anyway. In that environment they have limited ammo, and really slow reload times, as well as needing to pick up the spent shells. These are really aimed at collectors and target shooters.
The shells used in this are not the same as the Dan Wesson Win Gun shells. They are the same diameter, but they are shorter. Loading Dan Wesson shells will meant that you are then unable to close the revolver. If you want extra shells for this you will have to hunt down the appropriate Webley MkVI shells.

So to sum up. This is a really great replica which is fun and very realistic to use, but is of limited use in a skirmish environment. It has a beautiful used look to it, and handles very well. If you do get one you won't regret it, and I pretty much think you will have a smile on your face every time you use it.
