Description

What can you say about the Tokyo Marui Mk23 SOCOM? Yes, there are cheaper alternatives out there. Yes, there are much smaller pistols out there. But hell, adjust the hop, fit the suppressor and you're sniping people at 50+ metres with a pistol! Yes, they are THAT good!!!

The Heckler & Koch MK 23, MK 23 MOD 0, Mark 23, or MARK 23, is a weapon system consisting of a match grade semi-automatic pistol, a laser aiming module (LAM), and suppressor. It was adopted by theUnited States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for special operations units in the 1990s as an offensive handgun. Production began in 1991, and it was the basis for the HK USP, which began production in 1993.

While the MK 23 MOD 0 designation usually applies to the complete system, it is also commonly used in reference to the pistol component alone. The pistol itself, chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge, was developed by Heckler & Koch, and was selected over the Colt OHWS through USSOCOM's Offensive Handgun Weapon System (OHWS) program. The LAM and suppressor were developed by Insight Technology and Knight's Armament Company (KAC), respectively.

This is an excellent pistol. It lacks the realism of blow backs, but it makes up for it with flawless fiction and with the suppressor fitted almost silent operation. Quality is what you would expect from Tokyo Marui, which is to say it is a solid build in quality plastics. Because there is no blowback all the power from the gas is used to propel the BB for each shot, meaning this is powerful and accurate. It is a large pistol and holstering options are limited, but it feels awesome to shoot and in my opinion you could skirmish happily with just this pistol as the range, accuracy and magazine capacity are all excellent.

This is the best pistols I have ever used, hell its one of the best airsoft guns I own! Ive even done a full day skirmish just useing this pistol that’s how good it is
With the suppresser on the only thing you hear is the click of the trigger and the far off cry of ‘hit’, I mean how does not want to feel like soild snake :)
The only downside is finding a holster to fit the pistol and lamp attachment but hey no one uses the lamp
