Description

THE classic WW2 US sub-machine gun - loved by gangsters & airsofters alike!

Comes with the military stick mag (60rd lo-cap) and it also accepts the hi-cap stick and drum mags if you need the capacity.

A speed-loader and clearing rod is also supplied.

The military version of the venerable Thompson we all know and love. Modified during wartime production to be cheaper and more reliable than the 'Tommy gun' the barrel cooling fins and adjustable sights were lost and the drum mags were dropped and the mag replaced with a 30rd stick. Used by the early British commando units, the drum mag was quickly found to be too heavy & too noisy, being replaced with 20 or 30 round box mags. In US Service, it was taken up by the USMC well before WWII, but was supplanted by the M1A1 version very quickly. The 1928 was found worldwide for many years after WWII however, used amongst others by Israeli terrorists in their efforts to drive the British out of Post-War Palestine, a testament to the gun's longevity & reliability. The example tested was shooting at 375 fps with 0.2g BBs, so check you site limits! We do not guarantee that all of them will shoot at this velocity as spring consistency is almost non-existent in China. Yours may shoot bricks out of the side of your house or it may tickle the lovespuds of your resident tree squirrel, who knows?

the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the plastic hand grip seems a tiny bit creaky here and there but the look of the wood effect is excellent and the overall quality really is very good.the gun feels weighty and looks great.i tested mine with .20s and was getting between 400 and 415fps,fantastic fun,sounds really good on full auto too.its easy worth the money,i fancy getting a 1928 version next and would deffo stick with king arms going by how good their m1a1 is

Brought this gun back in July and finally had a chance to use it. Looks: Designed very well, compared next to a de-act M1A1 it looked like it is suppose and close to the size of the real deal, the white writing on the sides and top are a bit annoying but can live with it, the wooden stocks... plastic which nice visible seem lines down them, they can be replaced with real wood but the pistol grip and should stock will need drilling (for motor and battery) before they can be fitted.
Combat: Unfortunately this gun shoots hot, chrono'd at 400fps, meaning sites will not allow you to use it, however I was allowed to use it on sunday (as a 1 off) only on Semi-auto, and the gun worked fine... most of the time, it did jam a few times, simple to fix by removing mag, switch to full auto, dry fire, replace mag semi auto then fire. Bonus to only using semi auto, my 8.4v battery worked all day!

Pros;
- realistic size
- working semi/full auto and safety
- adjustable rear site (unlike the original)
- battery easy to insert/remove

Cons;
- surprising long reach to aim from shoulder
- awkward reloading (if not use to it)
- 400fps
