Description

An awesome full metal support gun which comes with a lot of kit for your money. Fully licensed by Fabrique National Herstal of Belgium, it has the correct trades and markings on the metal work.

Firing at around 340fps, it comes complete with a 2500rd box magazine which will auto-wind when it detects the sound difference as you dry fire a couple of rounds. It can also be switched to continuous wind if required. You can also use standard M4 magazines in place of the box mag for extra realism and heart pounding quick mag changes as this beast will chew through your ammo at 1400RPM!

An excellent airsoft weapon which really does put down a carpet of support fire as the real steel version does.

The paratroopers retractable stock version made it nice and compact for jumping out of planes and setting up quickly. I wouldn't like to hit the ground carrying one of these however, this airsoft version is about 1/3rd the weight of the real one!

It comes complete with bipod, a 2500rd electronic auto-wind box magazine, a 9.6V 1200mAh NiMh mini battery and charger and small bag of BB's which will last you about 3-4 seconds :)

We recommend that you ditch the charger as soon as possible and purchase an auto cut-off charger to protect the battery from overcharging. The supplied battery is also a cheapo Chinese 'Freebie' and we suggest you change that for a decent quality one ASAP. Neither the battery or charger are covered by any form of warranty.

good things:
very strong and never jams
depending on the battery used can lay carpets of fire down
makes an excellent addition to a team
bad points:
weak magazine meaning if the gun rests on it it can snap
bid pod is a bitch to adjust when under fire
bi pods locking system gets worn down quickly
you must keep messing around with the magazine as it can miss feed, thats a problem with the mag not the gun

all in all as my first LMG i loved it but im now thinking of replacing it with a newer model if your looking for a relatively cheep LMG that reliable go for it but if your looking for a longer term more comfortable weapon id go for a different model

Brought the gun, and it was easily the cheapest I could locate inside the UK of the model I wanted. Obviously, I was worried about the quality as a result. The warning about the battery and charger also made me nervous. However, all this was ended when I unpacked my new baby. It is exactly as described in the advert, It also looks excellent. I use it to demonstrate new kit to WW2 veterans and they love it. The front section is plastic, but the main body is solid and rugged. Rate of fire is great and accuracy good, though I recommend something heavier than the .2g ammo I bought. I did that to keep cost down, but wind shear effects the flight badly. My only issue is the noise when you use the magazine charger, but I don't have it on all the time and once a contact starts you are hardly giving away your position. I love my new gun. One word of caution though, it is a realistic weight. If you are not willing to lug some serious gear but something else, like the LSW or whatever. The minimi is compact, but not easy on the arms. Otherwise, a superb weapon to use.
