Functionally good aesthetically wanting and RTFM doesn't apply
Review by BasilValue Quality Price Shoots well, BUT there are no Browning factory markings of any kind.
The magazine is difficult to load bb's into, probably the hardest one to load that I've ever used.
There is a thread on the INSIDE of the barrel at the muzzle end but no explanation as to its purpose, and likewise regarding the slot in frame at the back of the hand-grip. I presume this is for attaching a stock, but there is again no information forthcoming.
Delivery was prompt (when eventually 'in stock') BUT I haven't been informed about the existence or not of the "grub screw/hop-up" or the modus operandi..

A pistol of pistols
Review by EdwardPrice Value Quality Nice finish and good performance though in the cold I had to warm the mag first.
In spring/summer this will be a cracker!

Niice!!!!
Review by CrazyAirsoftGuyUKPrice Value Quality This gun looks blooming b-e-a-utiful...I do not own this gun for starts but just by looking at it, I can tell that this has good quality. I am not a UKARA registered but wished that this was available in two-tone. If you agree with this then I beg of airsoftworld to make this two-tone. I know about the 'health and safety' law but this is such a beautiful pistol and for the very reasonable price.

Excellent value!
Review by NeilPrice Value Quality This is my first pistol so I've got nothing else to compare it to. But, for me, the WE Hi Power seems to be a good bit of kit. My main weapon is an ICS L85 so I just wanted this pistol as a secondary for those last ditch defensive actions when all else has failed and you've run out of ammo. I've not skirmished with it yet but on the range it seems to hold it's accuracy for a good 30' (10m to you young whipper-snappers), giving a really good grouping. I'm not expecting to engage over longer distances than that with this. This pistol came with the grub screw/hop-up fitted and has, so far, lived up to expectations. I'll skirmish with it soon and update this review if anything untoward happens but, at the moment, I'm real glad I bought it; it seems great value for money. Finally, excellent service and comms from Airsoft World yet again. Wish all companies, whatever porduct they're selling, was as efficient as this one.

Worth Having
Review by AdolfPrice Value Quality Arrived promptly as usual, along with a spare mag I bought - thanks airsoft World!! I own other GBB WE pistols and they never fail to please. Unusual version of the Hi-Power to make as the tangent sight went almost immediately off most production models, but still looks unmistakenly the part. Feels good in the hand, solid build and a nice finish, albeit painted. Grips are plastic but OK (actually pretty good) finish, which you can scuff up or change out if you wish. Performance - neither of the mags I bought leak and even in the cold scottish weather I got more than a mag from each charge. Lovely blowback action, really smooth. Unlike LooseHandLuke's, mine came with the hop modification from AW (ie the screw they put in!) Yes it is in the bottom of the chamber - go figure?!, but it does work - in fact mine was over 'hopped' with 0.2s and they were climbing. Not wanting to fiddle with the new toy just yet (even the screw hop) I put 0.25s in and they fly like a dream. It field strips just the same as I remember the real ones (yes you can put the spring in upside down too - be careful as I had a panic moment when it all jammed up until I realised - Dooh!!) so all us ex types can shed a tear. Overall, I really love it, I plan to use it in my WWII German rig instead of the usual P38 or Luger. Recommended if you want a value for money GBB with a good BB capacity.

Nice pistol
Review by LooseHandLukePrice Value Quality Nicely finished version of an early Browning HP, and all its features work exactly as you'd expect them to. Nice to hold, nice to cock and points well.
Its lighter than you'd expect it to be but not in a negative way, and some people may find the trigger is harder to pull than other pistols they own.
The mags retain their gas and don't leak round the valve while filling the mag.
I've owned a bunch of WE pistols and none of them have disappointed me in quality or performance,
BUT: my Browning shot VERY badly out of the box due to the mentioned lack of Hopup.
Airsoft world have a guide to adding a basic O-ring style hopup which is fairly straight forward (see link to the right of the product image), but I went a different way and fitted a TM M9 fixed hopup into my pistol and it now shoots wonderfully. I'll try and post details on the AW forum.
So, EVERYTHING is great about this pistol except the lack of hopup, and therefore it is also expensive for what is essentially a great looking paper weight, but don't let that put you off if you're handy with some basic hand tools as it makes a wonderful pistol to own.
