Nice piece of kit, little bit pricey
Review by AndyQuality Price Value Purchased the DPM version, super quick delivery from AW as usual. This is a nice shirt and great for airsoft. The main body (brown) is made from the kind of lightweight breathable material used in a lot of sports clothes, very stretchy and very comfy. The rest of the shirt (sleeves, neck - DPM) is made from what feels like heavy duty cotton, feels pretty durable. Nice to have padding on the elbow and wrist which feels a little stiff but will probably get more comfortable with a bit of wear. Two pockets on the upper arms with velcro patches on the outside. Zip off sleeves which will be great in summer. I wore this with just a T-Shirt underneath and a tac vest on top and was pretty warm in close to freezing temperatures once I got running around.
Only gripes about this shirt are firstly the price. It's a high quality shirt don't get me wrong but it cost more than my Viper assualt vest which seems to offer a lot more for the money. That said, AW are selling this at the time of writing for less than Viper's rrp. Other gripe is the lack of washing information - with a complex garment like this made of so many different fabrics some advice would have been useful so as not to mess it up the first time it needs cleaning. All in all not a bad purchase which looks great under a tactical / assault vest.
