Hey guys just an update on this gun, I've had this for about 2 years now, just installed some upgrade parts for it, only one place that I know sells em, a website based in the Czech Republic! (google it) i basically got a new hop chamber, new steel sears and spring guide, new steel bolt catch and steel piston, and a new SP160 spring in there, oo and a POSP scope, all in all didnt cost me more than 100 for the upgrades, and boy is this gun a SERIOUS rifle now! Also, you may be thinking ,it must be a B**** to cock now with that new spring.. well no because that site also sells a extension for the bolt handle, so now i can use most of my hand to grab it (i have big hands). so yah, awesome gone, nicely upgraded, and it handles it beautifully, a really good project gun, all i need now is a tight bore barrel and a wood kit.. which btw i cant find >.< .. AW can u guys help me find a wood kit for this gun? Thanks!!

this gun is a must get for all u snipers out there. much more powerful than any sniper on the market in this price bracket. the cocking system is very stiff so it will slow u down if ur skirmishing. also it can be a lil hard to get the mag in sometimes but the mag cap is very high and i probably wont need another mag.
and does anyone know were i can get a PSO-1 scope from?

Ok as you people have already heard, this rifle is epic. All metal, powerful beast. Solid and sturdy, long ass barrel. You get wicked accuracy for an out of the box rifle. Word of advice, if you want quick delivery, order beginning or mid week, not at the end of during the weekend, then you'll complain that they took ages, when actually they weren't even working on the weekend, and did process your order because of it! I just have one problem, I WANT TO CLEAN THE BARREL! But I haven't the tools for this, is there any way I can clean it using what I have at home? Or do I have to buy a cleaning kit? (I already have silicone spray, APS3). Cos this has a Long Ass Barrel, Help Airsoft World!

Apart from that, no worries, it's kinda sucky that it doesn't come with a small alan key for the hop and other screws, but oh well, minor nuisance.

order it early hours of Wednesday morning, got it thursday afternoon

i was very impressed with the sturdy body structure, the front grip slides back and forth about 2mm but thats nothing that cant be sorted with a bit of folded paper slotted in between the grip and matal holding it, if you are bothered by it to much.

most people have said that the cocking is stiff at first, though its not a concern as i expected it to be, but it those get better with use, but repeated use will start to get to your hands due to the small handle, wearing gloves is recommended on cold days.
i found that if i just use my index and middle fingers on the handle and have the stock against me it not to much trouble.

the part of the mag witch you load the BB's is hard to open but you dont need to open it until you run out of ammo as it holds enough to keep you going for a while, i recommend a small tool like a small flat head screwdriver to open it.

The accuracy is amazing once you get used to adjusting the rear sight, i have managed to gets some great shots off at around 30-40ft at cans using the iron sights, as i am yet to buy a scope and rail for this gun

all in all this a great buy to start airsoft as a sniper and great value for money
dont hesitate in buying this rifle, i promise you will not be disappointed :)

Wow. I ordered this on a saturday and it arrived on the tuesday, speedy delivery as per usual AW.
The gun is very accurate, i have yet to buy a scope but the iron sights on the gun are pretty good as well, the range adjustment on the sights is very useful when aiming.
The gun is hard to cock, but I am told that it eases away after a while.
The gun excluding the magazine and the two tone parts is solid metal, and the plastic is very strong, i have had this gun for over a week now and have not had any issues with it.
The only issue I could find with quality is that the hand-guard (I'm not sure what it is but its the two tone part that covers part of the barrel) slides back and forth slightly, this doesn't effect the performance at all but is slightly disconcerting.
Another thing which I'm quite satisfied with is that the saftey won't allow the gun to cock properly as well as stop the trigger from being moved.

All in all, a good gun. Great for those wanting to start airsoft as a sniper :)

This gun really is awesome! I recieved it yesterday (02/02/10) and I am really impressed. This gun shoots at high power, has quite good range, and really good accuracy. There are 2 real problems with this gun: 1) The bolt action is extremely hard to pull back - but this should ease with use. 2) The magazine cap it also extremely hard to flip up and WILL require a knife / other tool to pry it open - this problem may also ease with use. Other than these minor problems the rest of the gun is dead on. With a relatively low price, the gun is high quality, with few rattles and a lot of metal parts. The iron sights are quite useful but a scope it definately needed for precision shooting or skirmishes (Be warned the PSO-1 scope -aka the dragunov scope- does cost £100+ and not all models of the PSO-1 will fit this gun perfectly. Overall I am very pleased with the gun and I am looking forward to skirmishing with it. I would definately recommend this gun to any skirmisher who is looking for a starter sniper.
