Ordered this mask as I wear glasses so non-mesh is a pain in the ass, plus I need something to go over said glasses. When the product arrived I will admit it looked and felt rather flimsy and cheap. the strap is just a basic nylon strap which is adjustable however I added a few stitches to re-enforce it. Inside there are two pieces of foam that sit nicely on the cheek bone and provide some very basic comfort.

I am a big believer of testing things before using them in the field and airsoft is no different. I know it states it's been tested point blank with a 501fps however I like to see for myself. I shot the mesh with a gun chrono'd at 345fps with the end of the barrel pressed against it: it only dented....the bb. I then moved onto the face guard which showed no sign of damage.

My local site has a minimum engagement range of 10m so I am very confident that it won't break and after my own test I can't wait to take it onto the field.

this mask is the best ive ever bought,the mesh i just the right size so that you can see through them easily.the mask is very strong.i shot it a point blank range with a 480 fps sniper and it didnt even make a mark.however if the bottom half does break it comes with a spare

well the product is good for its price but fact is you get what you pay for. ive had this for awhile now and its lasted but me and a friend was having a 1v1 in the back garden which is about 30+ foot in length and a bb flew through a gap in the mask right into the corner of his eye as screws just drop out of it from time to time. my friend is ok but has now decided to get a more exspensive mask.

the mesh was strong enough to stand a hit from a 300 fps gun but it dented the mesh (does anyone know how to get a replacement for the mesh)

It is a good quality mask for a very cheap price. It is only a strap not an elastic strap so bare that in mind but other than that it is a very nice mask.

I ordered this mask in good faith as I have ordered from Airsoft World before. For a third time their service has astounded me.

To Airsoft World: You are bloody amazing!

Onto the product...

The mask is very strong (I personally tested it... (-: -- it was very fun) and it feels as if it would last a good while before breaking. The quality of the material isn't too brilliant but it is practically luxurious considering the price (only £10!). It is very easy to see through the mesh but looking down sights is a difficulty. I use an M4 (by SRC) and I find I have to tilt the rifle around to the 315 deg. mark and stretch my neck quite far to the right in order to look down the sights (irons or ACOG).

The pros outweigh the cons considerably. It is for this reason that I recommend you purchase this mask now.

You will not be disappointed.

a very nice well built mask. planning on using it for a skirmish next month. the mesh is great quality, bottom bit is a bit cheap (its a plastic) that i wish was more like the google bit which is rubbery.

For the money this mask is absolutely fantastic. The mesh on the eyes is super strong and pretty damn BB proof.

I was shot in the face by a guy about 3-4 metres away full-auto and I didn't feel a thing! He was using a G3, so it wasn't exactly a crappy gun or anything it was a proper pro gun...

However upon later inspection I have recently realised why you get a replacement face gaurd for it... the G3 had cracked open the mask at the left cheek and just below the right eye. But hey I'm not bothered I got a replacement face gaurd free with it and I got no facial injuries.

Good product maybe not top quality but pro nonetheless.
