Much better than plastic
Review by JoshPrice Value Quality I bought this gun for my cyma cm.028 (ak 47) to replace the plastic body because the plastic body got damaged. the quality of this is alright, although its made of cheap cast metal, its still much stronger than plastic and won't break on you. a small let down is the cast around the magwell and the selecter plate hole, it wasn't smooth and required some smoothing out with a file. I also had to sand down the inside a bit, using a sanding block so the the gearbox fit snug. I wouldn't recommend getting this if you don't know what your doing but the price is worth it if you know what your doing. Hope this info helps.

Well worth the money!
Review by MatthewPrice Value Quality First off, thanks to Airsoft World for the fastest delivery on record! Ordered late monday afternoon, got it tuesday morning!
The receiver is well cast from the cheaper 'monkey' metal but should stand up well in normal day to day use. Although it doesn't weigh much in the hand, it does add a solid, realistic weight to the rifle!
It is the first time i've used a metal body, and i can now understand the hype surrounding them. The markings are much cleaner cast than the plastic body it replaced. I'm not sure how long the paint will last but to be honest i think AK's look better when they are a bit battered!!!
If you're looking for a cheap metal receiver i have no doubts, you need to get one of these!
Now, what will it be like on the skirmish field.........

beats plastic
Review by WilliemotoQuality Price Value Used this twice now to replace plastic bodies, first one I got was great went on with no problems gearbox fitted in nice and snug. But the second one was cast a bit wrong at the back of the body, Took about 30mins and trained chimp could do it used dremel and grinding stone just to file it down at bit so that the gearbox would fit.
It says its metal and I suppose it is, but its that cast pig metal which isn’t strong enough to take the constant banging of a guarder blow back kit that was fitted, apart from that they take a lot of damage from drops, bangs and scraps on the skirmish field.
Last thing they don’t have a side rail mounted on them, so why not get one and fit it to the body before you fit it to your AK.

AK-74 Visually excelent and great value for money but not for AGM AKs!
Review by ForsakenQuality Price Value A while ago i posted on ascuk asking AW if this ak-74 body fits an AGM AK-47 full stock. the answer is no, it doesnt. but that doesnt mean it wont fit other brands.
It comes with a ribbed top slide and a plastic 74 pistol grip (which is longer than the 47 one)
The one i recieved had absolutly no paint work errors and is a nice matt black.
The slide is slightly shinier than the body but not that noticeable.
comes with 1 small screw and 3 TMH pins
