Is it allowed but if I slate the last guy but I want to
Review by ZackValue Quality Price You wouldn't go airsofting without safety glasses. Do you think your red dot wants to?

It's a necessary purchase. 'nuff said. There isn't really an alternative to this one. You do need to fix it in with something though; I lost mine convinced otherwise. (it seemed to fit in well at the time). But I will buy another.

Let down by slack dimensional standard in clone Aimpoints
Review by MilgeekPrice Value Quality At £10 this might seem a little expensive for a small metal tube with some honeycomb mesh in it, but when you compare it to the real deal Aimpoint version (which is on sale at 3 times the price) this replica seems relatively good value...BUT...
The trouble is that not all Aimpoint sight clones are the same. From the cheap Chinese copies to the more expensive King Arms and G&P models on the market dimensional accuracy is second to superficial looks.
In short, this kill flash replica may not fit your Aimpoint objective enclosure!
For example, this replica is slightly smaller than the diameter of my King Arms Aimpoint, meaning that the screw thread on the kill flash does not mate with the thread on the objective lens! It just turns round and round and does not screw in tight.
Now it *may* fit other makes - but the point is that you won't know unless you try.
The work around is to either *glue* the kill flash in (with something semi-permanent like locktite) or just bodge it in with some bluetack (meaning you could at least remove it easily if you wanted to).
Shame as this appears to be the only kill flash replica available on the market.
Bottom line - it's better than *not* having any kill flash in to protect your objective lens from a BB hit, and because of that you may consider it £10 well spent. Just be prepared for a little DIY to make it fit securely.
AW reply: Not sure your reasons justify 2 stars in Value and Quality because it didn't fit your scope, and 3 stars for price?! We do accept returns if your product doesn't suit its purpose you know. But heh, it's your review.... :)
