excellent value imitation RAS for tm/cyma m14
Review by stealthgunnerQuality Price Value This RAS is a great cosmetic accessory for your cyma/tm m14. My rifle is a full size though i suspect it will fit the socom also. I believe it is constructed from a machined, steel alloy as it is partially magnetic but reasonably lightweight. There were no instructions, though product was boxed, so i have attempted to write a guide. To fit the product you must remove the heat shield, slot the thin metal strip(rail end) under the top lip of the forward hand guard (where your heat-shield used to be). Next you must slot the spacer (semicircular metal piece, no hole) into the underside (charging handle end) of the RAS unit, (notice the dovetail cutout), at its extremity. Place the other metal semicircle(with hole) slightly forward of the bulbous area of the barrel, (near the charging handle) it should align with the screw hole on top of the RAS(use short screw). Last step is to screw the long metal rod on the left side in to the hole by the rear sight (use the spacers). A small rail section is included for telescopic sights you will need a very small allen key to get at the grub screw. I hope this will be of use as i spent hours trawling the net for this guide. Instructions are out there as a picture from the kings arms manual. Apologies for the length.
