Baby .45
Review by Insane_hedgehogQuality Price Value I bought this as it was on the 60 minute sale.
Army actually make some very good GBB pistols, and i own 3 (R27 MEU, R28 Kimber Worrior 2nd version and now this R45). There is the normal surface fault and the finish isn't perfect, but then look at the guarder kits for the TM's both My P226 and DE frame kits have tooling marks that shouldn't be there, so even the best isn't perfect.
The pistol is a nice compact size with a nice crisp blow back, FPS is a little low than stated, mine is running at about 270fps which is good enought and if its like my Metal kitted TM pistols the power will increase as the frame and slide bed in. I can't really comment on how acurate it is as i've yet to try it at range, but if its like its larger Army cousins it shouldn't dissapoint. It will take TM 1911A1/MEU mags and the TM Detonics mag but the TM mags are a shade wider so will need to be pull out of the well.
The only Issues i have with the pistol was it was bone dry and covered in fileling so had to be strips, cleaned and re-lubacted. the other was the Pistol jammed up on the gas router in the supplied mag. The turned out to be when it was assembled they trapped the router with the pin which holds the magazine feed lips on. This would be any easy fix but unfortunately the router was also torn. Luckly i had a TM router spare for a 1911 and every thing is working beuitfully again.
A highly reccomended pistol, which is some times over looked being ACM

Army Detonics Cambat master
Review by mikethesniperPrice Value Quality What a fantastic little pistol, excellent grouping, excellent crack of a blowback a perfect backup weapon, i have a thing for pistols and this one is a fantastic addition to my collection, and as i got it in the sale its even better. gave it a quick clean straight out the box, gassed it up and unloaded a full mag into my targeting gnome, out of 4 mags it only misfed twice. defo would recommend.

Great Buy
Review by JamesPrice Value Quality Managed to get one of these in the sale but even at full price it would still be worth it. Fits very snuggly in hand but still has a lovely weight to it. The mag i have holds 18+1 (don't know if they've changed since Sean got one)
Very pleasing to look at with a blinging chrome mag.
Only down side i've found is after about 6-7 rounds it seems to have trouble cycling the next round through. This may just be with my pistol and my bro-in-law says he's not having this happen to him.
Still, all in all very pleased.
James

A Very very very good pistol, I cant believe they are only £75.00.
Review by DudestylePrice Value Quality I placed my order late in the day and although Airsoftworld were quite busy I received my Army Works Detonics Pistol the morning after and I am extremely pleased with it. I previously owned the plastic version of this gun which I greatly enjoyed shooting and this new model is even better than the old version, the all metal frame and metal outer barrell are a vast improvement. The gun feels really solid in your hand, like a real gun and has a really nice feel and smooth action, the quality of the laser etching on the side of the slide is deep and sharp and is as good, if not better than those I have seen on pistols costing far much more money and the overall finish of the gun is very very good, again as good, if not better than I have seen on far more expensive pistols. The only points which slightly let the gun down aesthetically are the trigger and hammer which arent that bad, but also aren’t that great, with some casting marks, these however could easily be replaced should you wish to do so. Fully gassed up the pistol shoots with more than ample power and a really nice crisp kick as the slide cycles. It empties a whole 16 round mag in quick succession without any noticable depretiation in power, with gas to spare; and considering the length of the very short barrel, accuracy is very good also. All in all the Army works Detonics is a superb pistol. It looks and feels very similar to a real gun and performs excellently. I can’t believe they are only 75 pounds. If you were going to buy the Marui and a very expensive metal frame upgrade DONT! If you are in any doubt buy one NOW! They are excellent! Sean
