We've brought these to you just in time for fireworks season! These really are Exploding BB's which are excellent quality and perfectly round but for a small hole in the side where the sparks fly out from.

By exploding, we don't mean they blow holes in walls or even sheets of paper for that matter (any BB does that!) but they 'crack' on impact with a hard surface much like the Hollywood style special FX when you see sparking ricochets.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE BB'S SHOULD NOT BE FIRED IN PRECISION BARRELS AS THEY MAY JAM INSIDE AND DAMAGE YOUR GUN We have yet to hear reports of them jamming but obviously we have to warn you :)

Product Description

We've brought these to you just in time for fireworks season! These really are Exploding BB's which are excellent quality and perfectly round but for a small hole in the side where the sparks fly out from. By exploding, we don't mean they blow holes in walls or even sheets of paper for that matter (any BB does that!) but they 'crack' on impact with a hard surface much like the Hollywood style special FX when you see sparking ricochets. These MUST NOT be used at skirmish sites or fired directly at anything other than a solid surface that does not breathe. When they explode, the plastic shell breaks into tiny little fragments which are ejected at a 'stinging' velocity. So if they hit someone or an animal, they will MOST LIKELY fire fragments into their eyes. If you take these to any skirmish site, they will most likely ban you for life - or worse. You and anybody else in the area MUST wear eye protection with solid lenses, NOT MESH, as the fragments can enter through the holes in the mesh screen. We will report any abusers to the Police and make sure you are shipped off to Guantanamo with plenty slippy bars of soap....

    I bought these exploding bbs after talking to an independant film maker in need of ricochet effects. As the sales Ad' states these only work when fired against solid hard surfaces and will give off a varying amount of sparks & flash as they strike the target. Noise depends where you are, in enclosed or small rooms they're reasonably loud but volume's lost outside
    Still good for a laugh and makes a change from shooting holes in paper targets.
    They're a bit expensive, I wouldn't want to fill a Hi-Cap mag with these
    I've used them in a GBB Colt 1911. One problem is that the bbs are moulded together and need pulling apart. This leaves plastic moulding flash which has to be rubbed off otherwise the bb jams in the barrel
    Overall, expensive and need smoothing down before firing, but once fired against solid targets the Crack, sparks and a little smoke brings a smile to your face and gave the Film maker the ricochet effect he was after.
    I'll be buying a few more from time to time

    What more can I say but great fun. Ok not so cheep but you aint going to shoot them like normal BBs unless you have some luck on the lottery. What you get is a loud bang and some sparks verry impresive in low light. so get some and have a bit of fun but be warned they are adictive now where is my credit card?.

    Amazing! I fired a couple out of my GBB (before it broke), and the sparks were massive, and gave off quite a loud bang!

    However, I was loading some into a mag, I had them in the mag ready, and I released the spring, and it snapped up the they exploded in my face. ):

    Have you seen that video of an airsoft pistol firing exploding BBs? I was amazed that they were finally being sold! however, you get 91 for £6. Remember for that price you gould have got about 6000 BBs. Not for someone who needs to stock up on bbs, try buying the ice blue ones on this site instead. The exploding ones also run out stupidly quickly, if you are the fantastical shooter that i am.

    A worthwhile buy, very fun. Awesome movie effects ahoy!

There are legal requirements in the UK about owning a replica imitation firearm and it is ILLEGAL for anyone without a 'VCRA exemption' to purchase one. To purchase a RIF you must have 'reasonable cause' and be either:

An active airsoft game participant and registered at your local Airsoft skirmish site and be able to verify your membership. Your registration can either be a private scheme run by your site or through the UKARA national player registration database. To purchase a realistic replica firearm, you MUST HAVE a VALID site or UKARA player number. Despite what many people say, you do NOT have to be UKARA registered, although their national database system is a lot more reliable and quicker than trying to get your membership verified by your local site!

A film, TV or theatre production company who needs a realistic firearm for the purpose as a prop. Written evidence must be supplied before any purchase.

A Crown Servant who requires a RIF for the purpose of carrying out their duty. This would be for training or similar and again will require written documentation as proof of purpose.

A military re-enactment member who requires a RIF for demonstration, prop, show or vehicle mounting in order to present a realistic and believable weapons display whilst carrying out their duties as a member of the re-enactment group. Third-party liability insurance is a legal requirement. Proof of VALID membership and insurance must be provided.

In the event that you are not a registered player, you are still able to buy a two-tone / “2-tone” Airsoft / BB gun but THE BUYER (not necessarily the user) must legally be 18 years of age or older to purchase it.
